remember Bob Aldrich he passed away July 13,
2010,
at the age of 93.
Bob was an avid shuffler from Bradenton Shuffleboard
Club back in the 80's and 90's.
He leaves behind his wife Elnor and a neice. There
will be a service at
Freedom Village Landings Lounge 11.00 am Friday July
16, 2010.

HARVARD – James W. Brazier, 68, of
Florida and formerly of Harvard,
died Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Hospice of
Northeastern Illinois
Inpatient Unit in Woodstock.
He was born Aug. 26, 1941, in
Shawneetown, to Lloyd and Belva
(Cranton) Brazier. He married Marcia Staab on Feb. 28,
1964, in
Harvard.
He was a member of Road Construction
Union 681. He was a member of
Harvard Moose and the Bradenton Shuffleboard Club, was
a pro shuffler,
played basketball in high school and college, liked to
watch sports,
was always working on something, and enjoyed spending
time with his
family.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia;
a daughter, Tammy Creviston of
Harvard; a son, Randy Brazier of Hoffman Estates; his
grandchildren,
Marissa Creviston, Sammy and Alexa Brazier; a brother,
Dean Brazier of
Viroqua, Wis.; and a sister, Donna Antonsen of
Harvard.

William Bartrum, 81, went to be
with the Lord at 5:50 a.m. May 26,
2010. He was born Nov. 11, 1928, in Union Township,
Brown
County, Ohio, the son of the late Alex B. and Nellie
(Dalton) Bartrum.
Mr. Bartrum went to Clay Twp. schools in Miami County,
Ind. He
worked for Chrysler Corporation for more than 34 years
in
supervision, retiring in 1985. He had a love for
baseball and
belonged to the Babe Ruth League. Shuffleboard was a
favorite
pastime, where he had a professional status. He just
loved sports.
He was a past boardmember of Bradenton Castel
Retirement
Community for more than 20 years. He was a member of
Christian
Retreat Church in Florida and also a member of Grace
Community
Foursquare Church.Bill leaves a wife Betty and 3 sons
and a daughter.

STROBEL OF TRI-PAR PASSED AWAY THURS. 11:45 AM JUNE
3, AT THE AGE
OF 97.
ROSE WAS AN AVID SHUFFLER AND WORKED MANY
YEARS TRYING TO HAVE THE
CITY OF SARASOTA GIVE THE SHUFFLERS NEW COURTS AFTER
THE ONES THERE,
WERE TURNED INTO A PARKING LOT AT THERE LOCATION ON
THE WATER NEAR THE
COAST GUARD STATION.
THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE PLAYED WITH OR AGAINST ROSE
KNEW WHAT A GOOD
PLAYER SHE WAS. SHE HAD NOT PLAYED FOR THE LAST FEW
YEARS BECAUSE OF
ILLNESS. SHE WILL BE MISSED AT TRI-PAR AND ALSO THE
WHOLE OF SWCD.
REST IN PEACE ROSE.
